Thanks for the compliment. The Spanish 21 rules are the same across Atlantic City. I only know of two that have the game, the Tropicana and the Claridge, but there could be others by now. If I'm not mistaken, the best craps game is at the Sands, which offers 5X odds. When I say to take the maximum odds I mean bet the maximum allowed on the odds. For example, $50 after a $10 line bet. Keep in mind that you won't win more money by taking the odds, you just get to bet more without losing more in the long run.

I always liked the name Thunder Bay for a city. I used to work at a summer camp not too far from there in Missanabie, Ontario. To answer your question 6 decks is better than 8. However the difference in the house edge is small, only about 0.03%.
With reference to the first table of the Basic Strategy for Spanish 21, I have some questions that I hope you could clarify for me (standard game, dealer hits s17):

You mention the really low house edge in Spanish 21, but I have such a hard time playing the game because I get verbally abused playing your strategy. Not that I question anything you say about gambling, but man you are right about hitting a 17 vs an Ace. The worst slack I got was from a guy who was playing $400 split 8’s vs a 3 and got two 11’s and doubled down and got 19 on both. I hit my 14 vs a 3, busted with a ten. The dealer had 13 and pulled an 8. Now again I question nothing you say, but man when they had to almost call security it was really scary.
I get verbally abused too when I play Spanish 21. When I lived in Baltimore I played it a lot in Atlantic City because the house edge is lower than blackjack there. These idiots doing the abusing don’t understand that removing the tens from the decks makes hitting less dangerous because the probability of busting is less. Hot Wheels: Race Off is a Trials-style game of driving in one direction on a physically impossible track while trying not to wipe out. It's simple to get into, tough to actually play well, and aside from a handful of annoyances it's pretty fun. So long as you don't run out of gas, anyway.

You don't have to accelerate at all times. In fact, don't. Sometimes you're better off letting momentum and/or gravity do the work for you - both because it'll save a bit of fuel and because it's very easy to accidentally overcompensate during a jump and get yourself exploded.
Always remember the right pedal tilts back and the left pedal tilts forward. For some reason this always gives me trouble.

I've played a few games like Hot Wheels: Race Off before. Not that this is a bad thing, but it's certainly not a new thing, either. Still, for what it is it's pretty fun - barring a few hiccups here and there.
Flip, Flip, BOOM
The somewhat toyetic style of Race Off's visuals is a good touch to be sure, but it also looks pretty good in a general sense. The cars are just a bit shiny, the smoke that come off tires as they screech against the track billows nicely, and as irritating as it can be to flip your car and explode I have to admit it's oddly satisfying to see all the little bits rain down all over everything. It's no Infinity Blade, but it does look nice.
Race Off is also one of those 'easy to play, difficult to master' type deals where it takes all of six and a half seconds to learn the controls and then much longer to perfect your techniques. In this case, the challenge comes more from trial-and-error track progression and some slightly wonky design choices. The first of which is the way cars will tilt as you hit the gas or the brake while in the air. Having the car tilt back via the accelerator and forward via the brake just feels backwards. I mean, it makes sense in a physics sort of way if you imagine that every single vehicle has rear-wheel drive, but I always end up trying to correct my midair spin the exact wrong way. Then I land upside down and explode.

That statement relates to the importance of knowing and understanding the math of the game.
In this lesson, we’re going to focus on drawing odds in poker and how to calculate your chances of hitting a winning hand. We’ll start with some basic math before showing you how to correctly calculate your odds. Don’t worry about any complex math – we will show you how to crunch the numbers, but we’ll also provide some simple and easy shortcuts that you can commit to memory.
Basic Math – Odds and Percentages

Counting outs is a fairly straightforward process. You simply count the number of unknown cards that will improve your hand, right? Wait… there are one or two things you need to consider:
Don’t Count Outs Twice
There are 15 outs when you have both a straight and flush draw. You might be wondering why it’s 15 outs and not 17 outs, since there are 8 outs to make a straight and 9 outs for a flush (and 8 + 9 = 17). The reason is simple… in our example from table #2 the and the will make a flush and also complete a straight. These outs cannot be counted twice, so our total outs for this type of draw is 15 and not 17.
Anti-Outs and Blockers
There are outs that will improve your hand but won’t help you win. For example, suppose you hold on a flop of . You’re drawing to a straight and any two or any seven will help you make it. However, the flop also contains two hearts, so if you hit the or the you will have a straight, but could be losing to a flush. So from 8 possible outs you really only have 6 good outs.
It’s generally better to err on the side of caution when assessing your possible outs. Don’t fall into the trap of assuming that all your outs will help you. Some won’t, and they should be discounted from the equation. There are good outs, no-so good outs, and anti-outs. Keep this in mind.
Calculating Your Poker Odds
Once you know how many outs you’ve got (remember to only include “good outs”), it’s time to calculate your odds. There are many ways to figure the actual odds of hitting these outs, and we’ll explain three methods. This first one does not require math, just use the handy chart below:

As you can see in the above table, if you’re holding a flush draw after the flop (9 outs) you have a 19.1% chance of hitting it on the turn or expressed in odds, you’re 4.22-to-1 against. The odds are slightly better from the turn to the river, and much better when you have both cards still to come. Indeed, with both the turn and river you have a 35% chance of making your flush, or 1.86-to-1.
